Especially if (and I’m sure a lot in this sub do) you have streaming capabilities in your system. I highly recommend trying qobuz and ditching Spotify (for a lot of reasons) Amazon HD (for even more reasons) and now tidal as well and opting for qobuz instead. Qobuz is just such a better platform from my experience so far. The price difference is just not worth it.

Tidal definitely beats qobuz in that area but I know most of the music that I like already and usually am not in need of other peoples playlists. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about qobuz being difficult to find new music on - once I started navigating by genre on qobuz, I became much happier with the music discovery on the platform. I think the playlists that are available on tidal is the only perk the platform has over qobuz. The interface on the blusound app make them look almost identical. I also must note that I’m using both platforms inside of the blusound app on my MacBook and sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between the two. There are several other examples of this that I’ve found so far. Tidal doesn’t have either song in higher than cd quality. Qobuz had the ziplock / rich don’t stop singles out a day before Spotify and they’re both in high res. For instance, one of my favorite artists right now is Saba and Tidal has 0 high res Saba tracks. Qobuz also has more hi res tracks than tidal for what I’ve found. Source: Qobuz pays serval times more than tidal. I’ve heard over and over again “tidal gives the most to artists out of any of the steaming platforms” Should also note I used Spotify for several years (do not like Spotify) and I’ve had an Apple Music sub for about 2 months (not happy with them either) When that ends it will cost me $19.99 - so far that is just not worth it.
QOBUZ VS AMAZON HD FREE
I signed up for tidal recently when I found a 3 month free trial. This week qobuz lowered their price to $12.99 which I’m stoked about. I was really upset when I found out a month ago that I was being charged $24 per month from apple the entire time I had it and on qobuz’s website that same service was $15. Here are some pros and cons of Tidal HiFi that might help you spot the difference between Amazon Music HD vs Tidal. So first off, I want to say I’m a new user to tidal and I’ve used qobuz everyday for about 6 months.
